About Our Family

The Cardwell, Terry, and Lovelace family reunion is a celebration of our ancestors, who came together to build a community that would be passed down through generations. We are proud of their legacy and love them deeply.

We have grown over time to include people from all over the world, but we are still rooted in the traditions that make us who we are today. The Cardwell, Terry and Lovelace family reunion is a great time for us to come together and remember what's important—our roots.

Join us for our Welcome Reception! Meet your fellow relatives and get to know each other before the weekend festivities begin. We'll be serving up some light refreshments and making sure everyone has everything they need to get their weekend started!

Day 1 Agenda:
- 5pm: Welcome & Social - review the schedule of activities, drinks and hors d'oeuvres
- 6pm: Dinner on your own (not sponsored)
- 7:30pm: Movie on the Lawn
- 9:30pm: Retire for the night

September 2, 2023

Our Family Reunion Day is full of fun, games, and workshops that will help you connect with our growing family. We'll end the day with a gala dinner during which we'll celebrate our familial accomplishments.

Day 2 Agenda:
- 8:00am: Morning Exercises
- 9am: Breakfast (not sponsored)
- 9am: Gravesite Visit

- 10am: Workshops
- Health is Wealth (10am)
- Eat to Elevate (10:30am)
- Buying a House and Career in Real Estate (11:00am)
- Having the Talk: Engaging with Law Enforcement (11:30am)

- 11am: Fashion Show Rehearsal

- 12pm - 1:30pm: Lunch (pizza & refreshments)
- Outdoor/Indoor Games throughout the day

- 2pm: Workshops
- Your Legacy - Financial Planning (2pm)
- Planning Your Final Journey (2:30pm)

- 2:30pm - 3:30pm: Group Family Photos

5pm - 10pm: Dinner - Black Excellence - Black & Gold Themed Gala (semi-formal/formal)

The Day of Worship is a non-denominational praise and worship service focused on spirituality, with an emphasis on love & unity. The service will include music, prayer. and the opportunity to reflect on the spiritual journey that brought us together.

Day 3 Agenda:
- 8am - 10am: Breakfast
- 10am - 11:30am: Church Service
- 12pm: Check-out & Goodbyes
